JusticeNet is Still Here to Help

JusticeNet will continue to operate during the South Australian lockdown, with all staff working remotely from 20 July 2021.

While we will endeavour to maintain our high level of service delivery, please keep in mind that like many South Australians, our staff will be juggling children, animals, and imperfect home based work setups! We ask our clients and valued pro bono partners for your patience during this time, as there may be some unavoidable delays.

Details about specific impacts on each of JusticeNet's services are as follows.

Pro Bono Connect

The office is available during the normal hours of 10am – 5pm, Monday to Thursday on 8313 5005 and via email at admin@justicenet.org.au. We will continue to accept online applications at www.justicenet.org.au/help. While we will endeavor to maintain our high level of service delivery, we ask for your patience. There may be some unavoidable delays processing new applications and actioning existing matters.

Homeless Legal

Homeless Legal staff will be working remotely and our lawyers will not be available for face-to-face appointments at our usual outreach locations. However, appointments will still be available by phone, either during usual clinic times or outside of those times as needed.

Federal Court Self Representation Service (FCSRS)

The FCSRS staff will be working from home during the lock-down and the FCSRS office on Level 7 of the Commonwealth Law Courts Building at 3 Angas Street, Adelaide will be closed to face-to-face visitors. The Service will otherwise be operating normally, with the exception that all appointments will be conducted by telephone, and all communication with be either by telephone or email. The FCSRS is contactable via email at fcsrs@justicenet.org.au and by telephone on 8410 2280.

The Federal Court has announced today that all Adelaide registry services will be conducted remotely either by telephone, email or using the Court’s eLodgment service.
